SURYA.co.id | SURABAYA - Pendaftaran Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN) yang semula ditutup pada Jumat (5/5/2017), diperpanjang hingga Selasa (9/5/2017) pukul 16.00.
Pendaftar secara keseluruhan di panlok 50 saat ini mencapai 55.230. Dengan rincian pemilih saintek (Sains dan teknologi) mencapai 24.124, soshum (Sosial Humaniora) sebanyak 24.095, sedangkan campuran 6.423.
Yuni Sri Rahayu, Ketua Panlok 50 mengungkapkan jumlah ini meningkat dibandingkan tahun 2016 sebanyak 50.641, dan tahun 2015 sekitar 47.000 peserta.
“Ini karena kuota SNMPTN (Seleksi Nasional Masuk Pergurua Tinggi Negeri) yang tahun-tahun sebelumnya lebih besar dibandingkan SBMPTN,” jelasnya pada SURYA.co.id usai penutupan pendaftaran SBMPTN.
Mekanisme pendaftaran, lanjutnya, SNMPTN juga berubah. Pada 2015, seluruh siswa bisa mendaftar SNMPTN sehingga tidak banyak yang mengejar kuota pada jalur SBMPTN.
Sedangkan tahun 2016 dilakukan pembatasan berdasarkan akreditasi sekolah. Selain itu, tahun ini pembatasan kuota berdasarkan akreditasi semakin turun.
“Setelah ini maka persiapan kami fokuska untuk tes SBMPTN. Kami menghimbau agar calon peserta mempertimbangkan waktu dan lokasi,” lanjut wanita yang juga wakil rektor Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) ini.
Hal ini karena pada 16 Mei ada 55.000 peserta tes SBMPTN di Surabaya. Bahkan, untuk di luar kota juga pasti ada pendampingnya. Belum lagi, ada pendaftar ulang SNMPTN di 5 PTN di Surabaya sekitar 6.000 calon mahasiswa.
“Pengawas dan penanggung jawab naskah sekitar 6.000 orang juga akan berkeliling disekitar titik lokasi SMBPTN. Jadi harus dipertimbangkan waktunya agar tidak terjebak di jalan dan telat tes,” terangnya.
